Description

Revit and Tectonics explores how building information modeling can serve as a design tool for understanding assembly, structure, and material expression. The work focuses on translating tectonic intent into precise digital models—where walls, joints, and repetitive components are documented not only for construction but as generators of architectural form. Through Revit, the project studies how parametric families, detail development, and sectional clarity can align digital workflow with physical buildability. The emphasis is on the relationship between modeled geometry and real-world tectonics: how a building is drawn, sectioned, and understood as a system of parts rather than a single surface.
